In Keeping: Jackalope Milk
Share
Freshly arrived at KEEPER this month, and straight from Door County: we're proud to carry Jackalope Milk handbags and accessories.
Jackalope is crafted from the mind of Sage Conrad, who's boutique Jackalope Trading Co in Baileys Harbor is a must-visit in Door County. Jackalope Milk, their in-house leather line is crafted in the studio next door, offering sustainable and affordable accessories. These meticulously designed pieces are both functional and beautiful, making them a forever piece for your wardrobe.
From carefully chosen calfhair to beautifully marbled leather, each bag, wallet, and accessory is crafted with thoughtfulness. The stunning marbled leather is the impressive creation of NIFFICH - Helen Groom Poser, an artist from Central Wisconsin. Helen hand-marbles fabric and creates one-of-a-kind pieces adorned with her vibrant artwork. Jackalope Milk takes pride in selecting mill-end leather for the majority of their products, utilizing materials that may otherwise go to waste due to minor imperfections in color, texture, or blemishes. This results in distinct variations in color and texture for each bag, and the subtle scars on the leather serve as a reminder of the once-living animal it came from.
We celebrate and embrace these unique marks, just like the KEEPER ethos, taking care to preserve and enjoy goods beyond perfection.
